Friday Night Lights is designed to offer Smithtown East baseball players in grades 7 and 8 a chance to prepare for the upcoming baseball tryouts. Although they are not eligible to try out for middle school baseball, 6th graders are also welcome to join to prepare for their upcoming spring baseball season as well. The program is Run by the JV and Varsity coaches with help from the Varsity team members.
The workout emphasizes hitting, throwing mechanics, and fielding fundamentals.
We will be limited to 30 players.
